Saturday, 3 September:
- 08h45: Semi-Finalists to arrive at the Diaz Surrey Hotel
- 09h00: Semi-Finalists Meeting/Briefing with Director (Conference Room (1st floor)
- 10h00: Semi-Finalists to get ready for judging (luxury suite – 1st floor)
- 10h30: Judges to arrive
- 11h00: Judges meeting and briefing (Conference Room – 1st floor)
- 11h30: Judging officially starts – introduction of judges and semi-finalists
- 12h00: Interviews Sessions to start
- 13h30: Lunch Break - Judges and Finalists
- 14h30: Interview Sessions continue
- 16h00: Swimwear Judging
- 17h00: Judges meeting and discussions (decision making and selection of finalists)
- 18h00: Semi-Finalists final meeting/briefing

New Director
The Mrs South Africa Pageant for 2011 is finally in full swing with former Mrs South Africa, Joani Johnson as the new Director of the Pageant.
Joani was Mrs South Africa in 2009 and has been involved with the company ever since. She is also a full time model and beauty queen with more than 30 years experience in the Modeling and Pageant Industries.
Johnson says she is very excited about this new venture and is planning big things for the 2011 Pageant!
“I want to bring the Mrs South Africa Competition to its full right – I think the Pageant has major potential! I also feel that I have first hand experience at being Mrs South Africa and what it all entails and will be using my experience and knowledge to the best of my ability to make Mrs SA a glamorous and prestigious pageant“, Johnson said.
Joani took over the reigns from Mrs Urma Mollema who now resides in Canada.
Semi-Final Round
Our Semi-finalists for the 2011 Pageant have been appointed out of hundreds of entries and the Pageant organizers are very excited about this year’s caliber of contestants.
The semi-Finalists will have to attend the semi-final judging round that will take place in Johannesburg at the Diaz Surrey Hotel in Randburg on Saturday, 4 September.
Semi-finalists will be submitted to interview sessions and swimwear judging after which 15 finalists will be appointed.
The finalists will be officially introduced and announced during a media breakfast taking place on Sunday, 5 September at the Diaz Surrey Hotel.
Grand Finale
The 2011 Pageant Week and the Crowning Gala will - for the first time ever - take place in the Western Cape at the International Fancourt Golf Resort & Hotel in George during November.
Top 20 finalists will be chosen that will compete at the final event and will be staying at the world class Fancourt Hotel during Pageant Week where judging sessions, photo shoots, rehearsals, glamorous events, media interviews etc will take place.
Pageant Week will kick off on Sunday, 6 November with the gala evening happening on Saturday, 12 November 2011.
The gala evening promises to be an event filled with glamour, celebrities, top SA designers and a spectacular showcase.
